Camera App for Pixel4a from GrapheneOS

I was unhappy with OpenCamera and the Stock camera app that comes with lineagos. It takes forever to focus the first picture if you open the camera app. I tried many settings, also the camera2api but nothing really fullfilled my expectations. On twitter I found out about GrapheneOS and that the guys are working on a camera app for Pixel Phones: https://github.com/GrapheneOS/Camera/releases I installed it and its really snappy. NordVPN App snitches personal data

According to Mike Kuketz security blog the android version of the NordVPN app transmits personal data to third parties. After a quick search I discovered Lineage OS for the Raspberry Pi from Konstakang. Sounds funny but works like a charm 😉 Unfortunately it is not as smooth as it is on a recent smartphone, which might be...

Privacy tools on Android and Windows10

After switching to a new smartphone which is not yet supported by LineageOS it was necessary to find other ways to protect my privacy and prevent Android, Google, installed apps and visited websites from calling home and snitching. After a quick search on F-Droid i found Blokada. This tool is simple and clever at the same time: It sets up a virtual VPN-Channel and therefore routes ALL (!) traffic through it. Traffic can be blocked if the called URL matches an entry of one of the many blacklists that are available within the software. You can whitelist apps that you...
