Youtube is a great source for music and videos. Nobody will doubt that. However there are “flaws” like user-tracking and annoying advertisement.
Therefore Invidious is a great tool. It provides a alternative frontend to youtube without any of the flaws. It can be installed on your own vps. You can find the source on github: https://github.com/iv-org/invidious
